Elizabeth Khan, MS
Founder, Executive Director
Elizabeth is a systems thinker, policy strategist, and advocate for safe, ethical access to psychedelic healing. As the founder and executive director of the Idaho Psychedelic Society, she leads the organization with a vision rooted in education, integration, and cultural transformation—ensuring that the psychedelic renaissance in Idaho is guided by science, grounded in safety, and driven by equitable access.
With a background in cybersecurity, public health, and ethics, Elizabeth brings a interdisciplinary lens to her leadership. She is especially passionate about bridging science and psychedelics and building conscious systems that allow individuals and communities to heal, awaken, and thrive. Under her guidance, IPS cultivates spaces for dialogue, connection, and meaningful change—where ancient wisdom and modern insight meet.
christopher Lamott
Director of Operations
Christopher is a veteran and systems strategist with lived experience in psychedelic healing. At the Idaho Psychedelic Society, he supports the organization’s mission through program development, internal systems, and community engagement—helping ensure that visionary ideas translate into grounded, real-world impact.
With a background in geospatial intelligence, Christopher brings a systems-level perspective to IPS’s operations and logistics. He is especially passionate about the role psychedelics play in expanding consciousness, fostering well-being, and catalyzing collective transformation. Grounded in service and strategic clarity, he helps build the structures that support a safe, inclusive, and resilient psychedelic community in Idaho.
Danny O’Malley, BS
Integration Program Director
Danny is a passionate steward of consciousness exploration, with over a decade of immersive experience in psychedelic and entheogenic work spanning ceremonial, therapeutic, and community-rooted settings. Holding a B.S. in Psychology and Conflict Management, he is currently training as a licensed psilocybin facilitator through Inner Trek. His approach is steeped in reverence, ritual, and a deep connection to earth wisdom—inviting individuals into embodied wholeness through the power of intention, presence, and integration.
As Integration Program Director at the Idaho Psychedelic Society, Danny guides the creation of a visionary support framework that bridges psychological insight, spiritual care, and grounded risk reduction. He also hosts the IPS Podcast, where he explores the evolving landscape of healing, consciousness, and cultural transformation.
Katie Baker, BA
Book Club Host
Katie Baker is a writer, advocate, and childhood abuse survivor who has transformed her journey of trauma and healing into a story of resilience, empowerment, and hope. After years of battling addiction, shame, and the lingering effects of a tumultuous childhood, she found profound transformation through therapeutic psychedelics, deep inner work, and spiritual exploration.
In her memoir, When The Universe Holds Your Hair Back, Katie shares her raw and deeply personal journey—a story of confronting the past, reclaiming lost parts of herself, and embracing a life of authenticity, self-love, and purpose.
Jason Burdge, MNA
Board Member
Jason is a professional non-profit consultant with 20 years of experience developing organizations focusing on alternative mental health. He has assisted several psychedelic mental health focused nonprofits including Psychedelics in Recovery, End-Of-Life Psychedelic Care, the Psilocybin Facilitators Association, The First Responders Collective, and several psychedelic societies.
He is also a retired police officer who has used psilocybin through the state regulated programs to address PTSD and other traumas. As an advocate for mental health, he believes that psilocybin combined with appropriate mental health support can have a profound impact on community and personal healing.
Micah Akenzuah, MST
Treasurer
Micah is a seasoned financial strategist with a strong commitment to collective healing, transparency, and the responsible stewardship of resources. As Treasurer of the Idaho Psychedelic Society, he brings over a decade of experience in public accounting, auditing, and financial systems to support the long-term sustainability of IPS’s mission.
With a background auditing multi-billion-dollar firms and guiding individuals through strategic financial planning, Micah ensures that IPS operates with integrity, clarity, and the infrastructure needed to grow responsibly. Beyond his technical expertise, Micah is deeply inspired by the transformative potential of psychedelic medicine—particularly its ability to support mental health, awaken consciousness, and repair cycles of generational harm.
